Wow, what grown up children I have welcomed into Year 1 this morning. They have all settled (no tears), painted a portrait and written their name. Some have chosen construction, whilst others have cut and stuck to make a mouse. We have had a photo session and finished with a story. I can’t wait to have you all in my class next year. I’m so proud of you all today.
This week we have been recreating the work of the famous artist
We have used paper to cut out circles of different sizes.
Here is our beautiful work.
This week we have had a role play ‘hairdressers’ in FS2.

We have been using non-standard measures in maths to measure the lengths of ‘Trolls’ hairs.
We had an amazing day celebrating World Book Day thank you for all your support.
In class we did some work about Miss Bradshaw’s favourite book ‘ Mog the forgetful cat’.
